RELEASE OF MARTELA CORPORATIONS FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR 2008    
               
Martela Corporation's financial statements for 2008, will be released on        
Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 9.00 a.m. The financial statements and           
presentation material will be published at that time on the company's website.  

An event for analysts, portfolio managers and media will be held in Finnish on  
Thursday,  February 12, 2009 at 10.00-11.00 a.m. at Martelatalo, Takkatie 1,    
Pitäjänmäki. 
                                                                   
The financial statements is presented by CEO Heikki Martela (in finnish).       

At the event also Director Piotr Fic discusses the topic of Martela's operations
in Poland and surrounding areas - opportunities for the future (in english).
