David Walker, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed President & COO of the Forest Industry Consulting business group and a member of the Group Executive Committee effective February 12, 2001. David Walker joined Jaakko Pöyry Group Oyj in 1989 and has served in several leading positions in the international forest industry consulting business. He will also continue in his present position being responsible for the Forest Industry Consulting business group’s operations in Asia.
Rainer Häggblom, M.Sc. (Econ.), M.Sc. (For.) will continue in his present position as Chairman and CEO of Jaakko Pöyry Consulting Oy.
