Mike Dionne, Former SVP for Remedy Corporation, Joins Quelsys Board of Directors


NORWALK, Conn., May 4, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quelsys, a market leader in B2B e-learning, today announced the addition of Michael L. Dionne to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Dionne was recently the Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales and Channel Marketing for Remedy Corporation, the leader in enterprise help desk and services management solutions. He was responsible for all aspects of Remedy's channel marketing and the worldwide sales force. Prior to joining Remedy, Mr. Dionne spent 14 years with Apple Computer, Inc. During his tenure at Apple, Mr. Dionne served as Senior Vice President of Apple USA, Vice President and General Manager of Marketing Operations and Vice President of Communications and Marketing Services, Worldwide. He also served as Senior Vice President of Sales, with responsibility for over $4 billion in annual revenue and 1,500 employees in 40 locations. Prior to joining Apple, Mr. Dionne was with Xerox Corporation for six years in a variety of training and sales management positions in the Office Systems Division. In addition, Mr. Dionne served for six years on the board of directors of PMC-Sierra (Nasdaq:PMCS) the leading supplier of semiconductor chip sets to the networking and telecommunications industry.
