(Nasdaq:PMII), a leader in developing and commercializing Intelligent Surgical Instruments(tm), announced today that it has successfully demonstrated the newest addition to their linear cutter line, the i60XXL, for NOTES and Bariatric Surgical applications. In a controlled lab setting, Dr. Michel Gagner, Chairman, Department of Surgery, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, FL, was able to successfully conduct a NOTES sleeve gastroplasty with the new i60XXL Intelligent Surgical Instrument(tm).
