Lysaker, 15 April 2009 Nord Pool has received the following information from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE): Norwegian power prices above continental prices The level of water in Norwegian reservoirs was reduced by 0.3 percentage points during week 15. The reservoir level was increased by 0.5 percentage point in Mid-Norway, fell by 1.1 percentage points in the north, and was unchanged in southern parts of Norway. At national level, the reservoirs were at 30.0 percent at the end of week 15. This is 6.1 percentage points below normal. The Easter Holiday combined with warm weather made for low electricity consumption in the Nordic area in week 15. As a consequence, Norwegian water power production was reduced.
