RESTON, Va., Aug. 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Constellis Group, a leading global provider of security, training and managed support services, announced today that it has appointed Bill Cavanaugh as its new chief growth officer. Cavanaugh will be responsible for leading and executing an overall growth strategy while overseeing the company's business development, strategic planning and marketing communications efforts.
Cavanaugh brings more than 30 years of experience helping companies win new business with the U.S. government. He joins Constellis after serving as founder and president of WDC, a government services consulting company that provides business development, capture and proposal services.

Prior to WDC, Cavanaugh worked as a senior vice president of business development for DynCorp International, where his business development team doubled the revenue of the business within three years. In this position, he was responsible for all government and commercial business development functions. Cavanaugh also served as an executive at Fluor Corporation, running government business development.
Cavanaugh holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and education. He retired from the Marine Reserves in 1997, after 27 years of active and reserve service.
