StrikeAd By Sizmek Unveils New Offerings For Mobile Video Ad Buyers

Austin, Texas, UNITED STATES

Mobile first demand-side platform enables ad buyers globally to target local and context-relevant video ad inventory programmatically

Partnership with Dailymotion Exchange unlocks access to premium inventory on a global scale

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sizmek (NASDAQ:SZMK), the open ad management company for multiscreen campaigns, today announced two enhancements for StrikeAd, the mobile-first programmatic media solution for global brands and trading desks, as part of its self-service SaaS offering.

Ad buyers can now access hyperlocal and contextual video ad targeting capabilities on StrikeAd’s mobile first demand-side platform (DSP). Now ad buyers are empowered to target audiences with industry-leading accuracy, both by physical location and relevance. Through StrikeAd, marketers are able to accurately target users based on their locations, so ads are delivered to consumers at precisely the right moment. The contextual targeting is enabled through the DSP’s recent integration with Peer39, which grants access to its proprietary page-and app-level intelligence to ensure media buyers are delivering brand-safe, strategically impactful placements.

“The singularity of audiences on mobile video is driving its popularity among brand marketers, as they better align their ad spend to impact exactly who they’re trying to reach on devices where consumers are spending a lot of time watching video. As budgets devoted to this device and format increase, it’s even more important that marketers know those dollars are working hard and reaching the right person, at the right time, with the right creative,” said Gary Revenson, Global Director of Technology at Maxus. “Sizmek affords us the ability to deliver ads with greater relevance and reduced wastage, so we know we’re getting the most out of the high CPMs mobile and video ads command.”

StrikeAd also announced a partnership with Dailymotion Exchange (DMX), the private video exchange of Dailymotion, one of the largest video platforms in the world with more than 3.5bn videos views per month*. By joining DMX’s roster of DSP partners, StrikeAd by Sizmek enables its users to access the premium instream video inventory on Dailymotion Exchange, and target the ads filling that inventory using Sizmek’s geotargeting and Peer39’s brand safety filters.

“By integrating with StrikeAd, we’ve expanded our reach among the leading mobile-first global ad buyers looking to capitalize on the growth of mobile video audiences,“ said Damien Pigasse, CRO of Dailymotion. “The marriage of our premium video inventory with geotargeting empowers brands to leverage the best mobile video has to offer.”

StrikeAd’s new advanced video targeting capabilities provide brand marketers the ability to execute their targeted mobile video ad buys from a single platform and without the need to manage multiple DSPs, using RTB and Private Marketplace Deals, for both mobile web and in-app inventory, including DMX.

“Since video is the primary driver of mobile content consumption among consumers worldwide, it’s important that we’re able to offer our clients premium video inventory from leading providers like DMX,” said Mike Caprio, GM of Programmatic & SVP of Global Partnerships at Sizmek. “It’s also important that we empower our ad buyers with mobile-first tools such as location and context to identify and target audiences on the go, enabling them to maximize the impact of their video spend alongside display, and to provide them with the choice of a managed or SaaS offering. Together, these additions to the StrikeAd DSP provide best-in-class inventory, targeting and execution so brands can continue to effectively connect with quality audiences in creative and meaningful ways.”
