Cray Wins Four HPCwire Awards

SEATTLE and DENVER, Nov. 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- At the 2017 Supercomputing Conference in Denver, Colorado, global supercomputer leader Cray Inc. (Nasdaq:CRAY) today announced the Company won four awards from the editors and readers of HPCwire, as part of the publication’s 2017 Editors’ and Readers’ Choice Awards. This marks the 14th consecutive year Cray has been selected for multiple HPCwire awards.

This year’s awards include:

  • Editors’ Choice: Best HPC Server Product or Technology (Cray® XC50™ Supercomputer).

  • Editors’ Choice: Best Use of Artificial Intelligence (The CANcer Distributed Learning Environment (CANDLE) program at Argonne National Laboratory that leverages “Theta” the Cray XC40™ supercomputer to accelerate cancer research).   • Readers’ Choice: Top 5 Vendors to Watch
