Scania: New Assembly Plants in Algeria, Taiwan and Iran

Stockholmsborsen: Serious Criticism of Scandiaconsult AB for Breach of Listing Agreement
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stockholmsborsen is directing serious criticism against Scandiaconsult AB (SCC) for the company's breach of the listing agreement with the Exchange. The breach of agreement occurred when the Chairman of the Board of Scandiaconsult, in an interview with a daily newspaper, provided information of the type that could have an effect on the price of Scandiaconsult shares, without the prior public disclosure of the information in accordance with the listing agreement. Since Scandiaconsult has applied for the delisting of its shares, Stockholmsborsen has decided to refrain from pursuing the matter in the Exchange's Disciplinary Committee.
Tripep Acquires Vaccine Development Company Isconova
HUDDINGE, Sweden, May 07, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tripep AB (publ) is acquiring the vaccine development company, Isconova AB. As part of its strategy of promoting consolidation with partners in the field of microbiology and immunology, Tripep has made a bid for Isconova AB. The Board of Directors and owners of more than 90% of the shares in Isconova decided unanimously at the last Board meeting to recommend that shareholders should accept Tripep's bid. The deal will be concluded following customary due diligence. Isconova will then become a subsidiary that is wholly owned by Tripep.
AvestaPolarit Inaugurated World's Largest Stainless Steel Plant in Tornio
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- AvestaPolarit: today marks the end of a 3-year phase in the investment project to more than double the steelmaking and rolling capacity for stainless steel at AvestaPolarit's Tornio Works. This project is the most ambitious in Outokumpu Group's history, and by far the largest since the company first began stainless steel production in Tornio in the mid-1970s. It makes the Tornio Works the largest and most modern stainless steel facility in the world.
