Modern Times Group: Internet Retail Orders Doubled
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, November 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Modern Times Group MTG AB (Nasdaq:MTGNY), the international media group, today announced that weekly orders on its CDON and DVDON Internet retailing businesses nearly doubled, as a result of several recent campaigns to customers in Sweden. Total orders for week 46 reached an all time high, with an average of three products per order, and the substantial growth in orders added a significant 8,300 first-time customers to the CDON and DVDON customer database.

At this time the employees continue to work under a day-to-day extension of a prior agreement, which otherwise would have expired August 31, 2002. The Company's facilities in Dunkirk, NY and Titusville, PA are covered by separate collective bargaining agreements.

SL Chooses Graninge's Electricity for the Stockholm Underground
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stockholm Transport, SL, and Graninge Energimarknad have signed a five-year cooperation agreement. Under this agreement Graninge will supply electricity to the underground system in Stockholm in 2003-2007. Annual deliveries will total 355 GWh (million kilowatt hours) of renewable electricity.
