Telenor: Kyivstar Transactions
OSLO, Norway, Sept. 3, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telenor Mobile Communications AS ("Telenor") (Nasdaq:TELN) has entered into a transaction with Storm LLC ("Storm") whereby Storm purchases 7.7 per cent of the shares in Closed Joint Stock Company "Kyivstar G.S.M.," the leading Ukrainian mobile operator, from Telenor for USD 31 million. After giving effect to the transaction, Telenor will own 54.2 per cent and Storm 40.1 per cent of the issued and outstanding shares in Kyivstar. The transaction is anticipated to be completed within 6 to 8 weeks.
Metso's Completes the Sale of Rolac Construction Equipment Distribution Business to Bilia
HELSINKI, Finland, Sept. 3, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The assets of Metso Corporation's (NYSE:MX) Finnish construction equipment distribution company, Oy Rolac Ab, were transferred to Bilia AB on August 31, 2002, after the sale received the approval of the Finnish competition authorities. Bilia will continue the operations under the Rolac company name. The divestment is a part of Metso Minerals' integration process, following the Svedala acquisition.

Song Networks Announces Delisting from Nasdaq
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Song Networks Holding AB (Nasdaq:SONW) (Stockholm:SONW) announced today that the voluntary delisting of its ADRs from the Nasdaq National Market became effective at the start of trading on Thursday, August 29, 2002. Song Networks decided to delist from Nasdaq as the present ownership and market situation does not justify the costs related to the listing. Song Networks intends to maintain its listing on the Stockholmsborsen.
Metso Acquires the Entire Stock of Scandinavian Mill Service Oy
HELSINKI, Finland, Sept. 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Metso Paper has today agreed to acquire YIT Installaatiot Oy's shareholding in Scandinavian Mill Service Oy, i.e. 51 percent of the company's shares. Scandinavian Mill Service becomes thus fully owned by Metso Corporation (NYSE:MX). The acquisition is part of the development of the Metso Future Care business concept and supports Metso Paper's aim to expand its scope in the daily service operations within the pulp and paper industry. The acquisition price is not disclosed.
WM-data Divests Humanpro
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- WM-data today divested the staffing company Humanpro AB. The buyer is the international staffing group Vedior NV. WM-data will retain a 10% ownership interest in the operations.
