Skandia: Information Regarding Jan Wangard
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Jan Wangard, 45, passed away suddenly on Tuesday. Jan was working out of Mexico City as Head of Skandia's Latin America Division and member of Skandia's executive management. Jan Wangard has been employed in the Skandia group since 1979.
Skandia sells its stake in If
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Skandia announces that an agreement has been reached today with Sampo Oyj ("Sampo") under which Skandia will sell its 19.36 per cent stake in If P&C Insurance Holding ("If") to Sampo for a price of SEK 4 646 million in cash. As part of this transaction, Sampo will also acquire Livforsakringsaktiebolaget Skandia (publ)'s ("Skandia Liv") 10.06 per cent stake and Storebrand ASA's ("Storebrand") 22.47 per cent stake in If.
Skandia Liv sells its shares in If
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- An agreement has been reached with Sampo on a transaction entailing that Sampo will purchase Skandia Liv's 10.06% stake in If at a price of SEK 2,414 million. As part of the transaction, Sampo will also acquire Skandia's 19.36% stake and Storebrand's 22.47% stake in If. The agreed- upon price values 100% of If at SEK 24 billion.
Autoliv raises dividend by 33%
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Autoliv Inc. (NYSE:ALV)(SSE:ALIV), the worldwide leader in automotive safety, has decided to increase its quarterly dividend to shareholders by 33% to 20 cents per share from 15 cents. The dividend will be payable on Thursday June 3, 2004, to the Autoliv stockholders of record on the close of business, Thursday May 6, 2004.
