DALLAS, April 1, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Transcontinental Realty Investors, Inc. (NYSE:TCI) Tuesday reported net income of $6.15 million, or $.75 per share, on revenue of $20.84 million, for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2002, compared to a net loss of $6.10 million, or ($.74) per share, on revenue of $23.63 million for fourth quarter 2001.

Fourth quarter sales were CDN $898,000, an increase of 8% compared to 2001. Sales for the year were CDN $3,363,985 vs. CDN $3,238,518 for 2001, an increase of 3.9%. For 2002 the company lost CDN $907,371 after tax or CDN $(0.06) per share.

It said the objective of the agreement is to integrate AdZone's NetGet(tm) Internet monitoring technology with Boeing Autometric's range of products and services to better help identify clandestine communications posted on the World Wide Web on behalf of federal intelligence agencies. Because of security considerations, AdZone said it was unable to further discuss the scope or nature of activities related to today's announced agreement.

HOGANAS, Sweden, April 1, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hoganas AB yesterday completed the acquisition of SCM Metal Products, Inc., USA, a manufacturer of specialty iron and metal powders. SCM formerly was owned by OM Group, Inc., a metals and mining company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. The purchase price amounted to MUSD 65. The acquisition, which has an effective date of 1 January 2003, is expected to make a positive contribution to the Hoganas Group's earnings for the current year.
