New Jersey Mining Company Extends High Grade at the Golden Chest Mine
KELLOGG, Idaho, Jan. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- New Jersey Mining Company (OTCBB:NJMC) recently completed its drilling program to expand resources on the deep portion of the Idaho vein at the Golden Chest mine in Murray, Idaho. The highlight of the drilling to date is from DDH05-3 where a 2.4 meter (m) interval assayed 23.2 grams of gold per tonne (gpt) or 8 feet of 0.68ounces of gold per ton.

SeaDrill Sells Ocean Rig ASA Position
HAMILTON, Bermuda, Jan. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of SeaDrill has today January 6, accepted an offer to sell the Company's position in Ocean Rig ASA. Totally, 21,414,028 shares were sold at NOK 89 per share. In addition, the Ocean Rig ASA 04/07 Convertible Bond, nominal value NOK 10,500,000, which may be converted into 552,632 shares in Ocean Rig ASA, were sold, basis same price. The transaction will generate a profit of approximately USD 80 million to be recorded in Q1 2006.
