Ingen Receives First Order From National Guard Hospital


YUCAIPA, Calif., Jan. 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ingen Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ITEC), an established medical device manufacturer with an emerging new medical product line for the respiratory market worth an estimated $4 Billion in the U.S., and $8 billion globally, announced today that it has received its first order from the National Guard Hospital based in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Department of Defense, from September of 2001 to November of 2007, more than 250,000 troops of the National Guard have been deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq alone, and in 2008 there were more than 460,000 soldiers in the National Guard.

The hospital consists of a 525 bed acute and tertiary medical care center providing health care service to SANG employees and their dependents. The services of the hospital are at a high level of professional standards as defined by the standards of the United States Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and the Hospital Operation Standards.

The company has registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. This registration will allow Ingen to sell its medical products to the National Guard. The National Guard of the United States is a reserve military force composed of state National Guard militia members or units under federally recognized active or inactive armed force service for the United States. The National Guard of the United States is administered by the National Guard Bureau, which is a joint activity under the Department of Defense.
