Semcon is introducing a new market-oriented organization in the field of
Engineering Services to further strengthen the Group’s global ability to supply
its services. The new organization will come into effect on 1 January 2014.
“It’s time for Semcon to take the next step towards strengthening its
Engineering Services offer. The change implies that we will get a geographic
organization, which increases the focus on our customers and deliveries”, says
President and CEO Markus Granlund.

From 1 January 2014 Engineering Services business activities, formerly
Automotive R&D and Design & Development, will be structured in one market
-oriented organization with three business areas:

  · Engineering Services Nordic with around 1,100 employees and business
activities in Sweden and Norway.
President: Olof Christensson (formerly president, Design & Development).
  · Engineering Services Germany with around 1,100 employees. President: Henry
Kohlstruck (formerly manager of Automotive R & D Germany).
  · Engineering Services International with almost 300 employees and business
activities in the UK, Brazil, India, Russia and China. President: Markus
Granlund will initially take responsibility for the business area.

The Informatic business area, with around 550 employees, concentrating on
product information services and solutions will not be affected by the
organizational changes. Johan Ekener will remain as president.

From 1 January 2014 Group Management will consist of: Markus Granlund, President
and CEO, Björn Strömberg, CFO, Carin Wiberg, General Counsel, Olof Christensson,
President of Engineering Services Nordic, Henry Kohlstruck, President of
Engineering Services Germany and Johan Ekener, President of Informatic. Stefan
Ohlsson, President of Automotive R&D will leave the company. Markus Granlund
will assume responsibility for Automotive R&D until year-end.
