IXONOS CHANGES ITS SEGMENT REPORTING, COMPARISON FIGURES FROM THE 2010 FINANCIAL PERIOD
From the beginning of 2011, Ixonos reports its consolidated business operations in two segments: Mobile Solutions and Business Solutions.
The Mobile Solutions segment includes solutions and services for developing wireless technologies, devices and services. The segment’s clientele consists of wireless technology providers, mobile device manufactures, teleoperators and consumer electronics manufactures as well as other companies that utilize new business opportunities enabled by wireless communications.
The Business Solutions segment includes solutions and services for developing e-commerce and e-government solutions. The segment’s clientele consists of organizations in the Finnish telecommunications and finance sector as well as in public administration.
The new segments represent more accurately the nature of the company's business operations and match the company's operational organization thus clarifying the internal and external reporting.
Ixonos publishes its first interim report according to the new segments on Thursday, 28 April 2011.
