Lysaker, 27 June 2007 Nord Pool has received the following information from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE): Normal quantities of snow and inflow Inflow to the Norwegian reservoirs was 5.4 TWh in week 25. This is about normal. Total inflow so far is year is 66 TWh, or 10 TWh above normal. There have been large quantities of snow in the mountains throughout the winter and springtime. However, a great deal of the snow has melted, and the remaining snow level is about normal for this time of the year. High inflows so far this year has led to the average Norwegian reservoir level being 6.8 percentage points above normal. At the end of week 25 the reservoir level was 69.4 percent. The reservoir level in Sweden is 65.5 percent after an increase of 2.5 percentage points last week. Norwegian power production and exports has been high the last few weeks as a result of the high level of inflow. Summed electricity exports in the last 4 weeks are 1.3 TWh. Most of the export is transmitted to Sweden form the south of Norway.
