On 28 December 2010, Tallinna Kommunaalamet and the consortium of AS Merko Ehitus / AS Merko Infra / Tallinna Teede AS / AS Ehitusfirma Rand ja Tuulberg concluded a contract of services, for the reconstruction of Ülemiste traffic junction in Tallinn. According to the contract, among else one tunnel to connect the Peterburi road with the Järvevana street and another left-turn tunnel to connect Peterburi road with the Ülemiste street plus a viaduct across the Tartu road and 3 tunnels for non-motorised transportation will be built.
Price of the contract is EEK 647 684 400 (without VAT). Completion time for the works is set on autumn 2013.
