Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for January totalled 4.24 million euros and increased by 12% compared to January previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 9%.
In the month of January, retail revenue increased by 14% in Eastern Europe region (in Russia 19% and in Ukraine 8%). Retail sales revenue in the Baltic region increased by 13% (27% in Latvia, 13% in Estonia and 5% in Lithuania).
In the month of January, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased the most in Ukraine (+34%), Russia (+18%), Latvia (+18%) and Lithuania (+16%).
Comparable wholesale increased by 3%.
Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue for January totalled 4.51 million euros and increased by 7% compared to January previous year.

Three shops were closed in January: one in Russia and two in Lithuania. At the end of January Baltika Group had 117 stores with a total sales area of 24,088 square metres, 15 stores less than in January 2010.
