Bilia has today concluded an agreement to sell the BMW operation in Uddevalla, Henån and Strömstad. The buyer is ANA Trollhättan AB, which recently concluded an agreement with the Swedish BMW importer to also start up sales of BMW in Trollhättan. The purchase consideration is SEK 22 M. The date of possession is 1 September 2013, and the transaction is expected to have the following effects on the Bilia Group:
- The gain on the sale amounts to about SEK 0 M.
- Capital employed and net debt will be reduced by about SEK 40 M.
- Annual turnover will decrease by about SEK 165 M.
- The number of employees will decrease by 22.
