Issue with Risk Reducing flag on order entry via FIX protocol
If an order submitted via the FIX protocol is flagged as Risk Reducing, the resulting trade will not be stored as Risk Reducing by Nasdaq, and a Risk Reducing flag will not be received on the Execution report. Consequently, Nasdaq will not relay information on Risk Reducing Indicator for affected trades in regards to Transaction and Position reporting.
It should be noted that only orders submitted via the FIX protocol are affected. Trade reports, and orders submitted via OMnet are unaffected by this issue. A fix will be implemented with the 5.0205 release, going live April 21.
