TABY, Sweden, April 3, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Saab Avionics is concentrating its purchasing of consultants to a small number of Preferred Suppliers. Enea Realtime is the first company to have attained preferred supplier status with Saab Avionics. The agreement is estimated by Enea Realtime to be worth 20 - 25 MSEK for 2002.
The frame agreement constitutes a deepening of the already well established relationship that exists between Saab Avionics and Enea Realtime, and it is intended to facilitate the cooperation between the two companies when it comes to the purchasing and performance of consultant assignments. The assignments will cover system, software and electronics development and testing, as well as process/business development.
"Saab Avionics' development operations are at the absolute leading edge of technology in areas where we know from experience that Enea Realtime has high-level competence," said Urban Wilen, Purchasing Manager at Saab Avionics. "It was therefore an obvious choice for us that they should be brought into the 'inner circle' of suppliers to Saab Avionics as a Preferred Supplier," he continued.
