NEWS IN NETPAGES OF HELSINGIN SANOMAT CONCERNING SCANFIL PLC ON 27 MARCH 2007
Based on the request of investigation made by Finnish Financial Supervision
Authority Scanfil plc's Board of Directors and President has been heard in
investigation based on suspicion on possible breaching of the ongoing disclosure
requirements and two of the members of the Board of Directors based on suspicion
on misuse of insider information in turn of the year 2005-2006. Case has been
passed to the prosecutor for consideration of possible charges.
Scanfil plc and its management disputes all suspicions at its entirety and
emphasizes that Scanfil's information has been conducted with due care.
The hearing has no effect to Scanfil's normal operations and company will not
comment the issue more when consideration of charges is still pending.
