On 14 June 2010, United Utilities announced that it had agreed to sell its principal non-regulated water interests in the United Kingdom and Europe to Veolia Water UK PLC. This included its holding in AS Tallinna Vesi. Subsequently, United Utilities has taken the decision to retain its holding in AS Tallinna Vesi.
