ZetaDisplay: To supply a media platform for a new international fitness concept

Sweden, 2011-05-31 10:07 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

ZetaDisplay has signed a co-operation agreement with the American company Wexer Holding LLC for the supply of its Digital Signage media platform, for use in a new and ground-breaking fitness concept called “cycle cinema”.

It is Rasmus Ingerslev, CEO of Wexer, who was previously one of the founders of Fitnessdk in Denmark, who developed the cycle cinema concept. This concept enables individual fitness centres to offer their clients over 100 hours of training per week. This training takes place without instructors and is carried out with the aid of various pre-recorded films featuring well-known instructors combined with graphical training instructions that are shown in the training premises. The concept is cost-efficient and gives the clients greater possibilities to do their training without restrictions during the fitness centre opening times.

ZetaDisplay delivers its media platform for Digital Signage with total responsibility. Each separate fitness centre can assemble its own different training programmes via the web interface of the media platform that is operated via the cloud.

Installation of the concept has already begun in several chains in Denmark, such as Fresh Fitness, Aerobicgaarden, Enjoy Fitness and Fitness One. Installation will also start this summer in the Midtown fitness chain, located in both the USA and Canada.

“We are pleased to join in and develop this new and innovative concept, which also has great international potential. As always, we are seeking the benefits that our clients can enjoy by investing in our media platform for Digital Signage. With Wexer this has developed into a completely new business concept, while Wexer’s clients can increase their income from existing fitness centres,” says Leif Liljebrunn, CEO of ZetaDisplay AB (publ).

ZetaDisplay is in an expansive phase and has positioned itself in the market by being able to show markedly increased sales and improving communication for its clients by means of the company’s media platform for Digital Signage.

ZetaDisplay is a leading supplier of Digital Signage to major chains in the retailing and service sectors of the Nordic market. ZetaDisplay has about 40 employees and subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway and Finland.
