Flashtalking Expands Leadership and Management Team to Support Continued Global Growth

John Ragals Joins as SVP US Client Operations; Dan Rosler as VP Platform Operations

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 28, 2016) -  Flashtalking, the leading global independent ad server, announced the appointments of John Ragals as Senior Vice President, U.S. Client Operations and Dan Rosler, as Vice President, Platform Operations. Ragals takes the top client operations post as the company continues to drive unbridled growth in the U.S. and abroad, with ongoing renewals and expansion of its client base across major brands and with the world's largest agencies. In addition, Rosler spearheads Flashtalking's continuation and elevation of world-class levels of service around the company's solutions in HTML5 programmatic creative, cross-channel ad serving, and unbiased fractional attribution and device recognition.

"We are thrilled to add such collective firepower to our leadership and management team, with the hiring of John and Dan," said John Nardone, CEO of Flashtalking. "John's tenure with some of the original innovators in our space -- Modem Media, 360i, and IgnitionOne -- leading the transformation of all these companies to powerhouses in the digital marketing arena while facilitating relationships with major brands."

Over the course of his career, Ragals has led global engagements for Delta Air Lines, Enterprise Car Rental, H&R Block, JCPenney and Mattel -- among others -- all while overseeing high level operations and establishing scale. After serving as COO of 360i through their tremendous growth and sale to ad giant Dentsu, he was most recently COO at IgnitionOne, a leading cloud-based advertising technology and marketing technology provider, where he led global operations and oversaw the reorganization of their service delivery teams and restructured their European operations to create truly scalable and efficient growth for the company.

"This move comes at an exciting time for me and for the space. In some very interesting and exciting ways, what's old is new again, when it comes to creative tech," said Ragals.

"There was a time, back in the day, when we realized the joint power of media and creative, tasking them with working equally as hard to deliver campaign results. Remarkably, the same is now true for data and creative, and the power we are able to achieve when they work hand in hand to deliver compelling and on target messages to consumers. Flashtalking very much sits at the leading edge of innovation on data driven creative systems and solutions -- and does so from a media agnostic position. From this position, we absolutely are transforming the way brands are able to market and achieve results using data and creative."

At the same time, Rosler steps in to transition the Flashtalking platform to the next level -- responsible for the company's certification relationship with the MRC, formal client onboarding processes and overall high-caliber quality assurance for full- and self-service client solutions.

"I'm joining an industry leader at an inflection point in programmatic advertising where data driven creative takes off," said Rosler, "I'm excited about working with like-minded ad, martech leaders and innovators -- to make it happen for our clients, clients who are poised to succeed very much because of the Flashtalking solution."

Rosler brings over 20 years' experience in Internet technology, digital marketing, and client services. His most recent post was VP Professional Services at Rocket Fuel, where he built the team and led the implementation of their dynamic creative offering. He previously worked at Yahoo!, where he piloted new marketing solutions -- as well as at PayPal, where he designed and implemented the company's data-driven marketing technology platform, and built its Marketing Operations team from the ground up.

"Dan's background and experience is perfectly suited to take on this challenge," continued Nardone. "His keen eye for the intricate workings and requirements of scale are exactly what we need -- because smart, massive scale is where we are heading, as we service our world class clients."

Ragals will be based in New York City. Rosler will be based in San Francisco. Both will have remit across the multiple Flashtalking offices in NY, Chicago, LA and San Francisco.

These hires come on the heels of several major developments to the solution, including the recent acquisition of Encore, long-time pioneer in cross-channel, fractional attribution technology. A complete integration of the Encore Ensemble Attribution™ engine empowers advertisers to move beyond last-touch measurement models to optimize every consumer engagement in the conversion path across paid, earned and owned media.

**The company will host a full-day program and community discussion on the dual power of data and creative at "The Art & Science Sessions," taking place during Internet Week in New York City on May 18, 2016. Deloitte Digital is co-hosting the event, expected to draw 200 brands, agencies and industry influencers.
