Playwire Media Taps SpotX To Power Ad Serving For Video Business

Publisher representation firm taps SpotX’s ad server to meet buyer viewability demands

DENVER, Oct. 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Digital publishing giant Playwire Media has signed video inventory management platform SpotX to manage their video ad deals across owned-and-operated (O&O) sites as well as their syndication partners.

One of SpotX’s key features that Playwire Media will utilize is the predictive viewability targeting tool within its ad server, which enables the publisher to pre-emptively meet the differing viewability requirements of buyers.

The feature allows publishers to evaluate historical viewability data to predict and optimize viewability scores for campaigns, and accurately filter delivery to placements that are most likely to match the advertiser’s viewability needs. Before this viewability tool was introduced to the market, publishers had to evaluate if viewability targets had been met following campaign completion and reimburse clients for impressions that did not meet requirements.
