Mr Kari Tiiri, the Marketing Director of the Aspo Plc subsidiary,
Aspokem Ltd, has been appointed to the position of Vice President
of the company, effective 1 January 2001. Mr Tiiri has held a
variety of posts within the Aspo Group since 1974.
Aspokem Ltd is a leading distributor of chemicals and plastic raw
materials in Finland and the Baltic countries. In his new
position, Mr Tiiri´s primary responsibility will be to continue
the expansion of the company´s Baltic units, as well as to guide
entry into completely new markets.
