Telenor Broadband Services continues to build on operations in Sweden

In addition, the Swedish market with nine million inhabitants and its strong economy is very interesting to Telenor. Sweden is strategically important for us both for investments and co-operation with different companies in addition to being a market for our services”, says Stig Eide Sivertsen, CEO of Telenor Broadband Services.

Per Tengblad has a background as a Bachelor of Commerce and has 20 years experience as a manager in print media, film and TV in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic countries. The last four years as the CEO of Canal Digital he has built up the company in the Nordic region making it the leading distributor of TV channels and interactive services via satellite. Telenor Broadband Services owns 50 per cent of Canal Digital. Canal Plus is the other owner.
