TABY, Sweden, July 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Enea Data:
- Net sales increased 16% to SEK 312 (268) million, compared with the same period last year.
- Loss after tax was SEK 24 (33) million, equivalent to a loss per share of SEK 0.07 (0.18).
- Operating loss, excluding items affecting comparability, amounted to SEK 4 (25) million.
Enea is according to plan streamlining operations and strengthening its focus on the OSE product family, product-oriented consulting, and on related qualified services within technical system development.
- Net sales rose 26% during the second quarter to SEK 175 (139) million with a positive operating income, excluding items affecting comparability, of SEK 5 (-11) million.
- New and renegotiated agreements were signed with clients such as Alcatel, Nokia Networks, Texas Instruments and with Ericsson, (both systems- and mobile phone products).
- After the close of the period, Enea signed a letter of intent with Generic Integration AB for the sale of Enea Software Solutions and part of Enea Industry, a minor part of Enea's consulting business.
