On March 29, a contract was signed between Baltika and the Olympic Committee of Latvia according to which Baltika's brand Monton will design uniforms for Latvian athletes during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Monton also provides uniforms for Estonian and Ukrainian Olympians in Beijing and altogether, almost 1,000 sportsmen will wear Monton's designs. AS Baltika is a long term partner of the Estonian Olympic Committee. Monton designed uniforms for Estonian Olympians for the 2004 Athens Olympic Summer Games and 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games.
