Saab develops Swedish air defence

Saab has received an order worth 118 million SEK for continued maintenance and
development of the Swedish Armed Forces air defence system StriC and the
simulator system Strics.

The system is developed in close collaboration with the customer and is adapted
for the specific requirements of the Swedish Air force.  

Peter Wimmerström, President of Saab Systems, is pleased with the continued
confidence from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and emphasises
that the collaboration between Saab and FMV has given good results.

“This contract shows that FMV believes in our operations and products and allows
us to continue our successful collaboration. The order is also important for the
continued development of Saabs' world leading expertise in command and control
systems for air defence and future network based system solutions.”
