CHANGE IN THE COMPANY'S OWNERSHIP

IXONOS PLC   STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT 5 May 2009                             

ANNOUNCEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF FINLAND'S SECURITIES MARKETS ACT 
                                             
Pursuant to chapter 2, section 10 of Finland's Securities Markets Act           
(495/1989), Ixonos Plc has today been informed of the following change in the   
company's ownership:                                                            

Tuomas Kohila has notified Ixonos that his holdings have fallen below           
one-twentieth (five per cent) of Ixonos' shares and votes on 4 May 2009. Tuomas 
Kohila's holdings, 557,140 Ixonos shares, corresponding to 5.98 per cent of     
Ixonos' shares and votes, have fallen to zero.                                  

Ixonos' share capital is EUR 372,523.56. It consists of 9,313,089 shares. Each  
share carries one vote at the General Meeting.
