21 December 2009 Stockholm, Sweden - Net Insight, a leading provider of efficient optical transport solutions for media, broadcast and IP networks has received an expansion order from a media operator in Eastern Europe for the next phase of the national Digital Terrestrial TV distribution network. The media operator provides a nationwide analogue and digital television and radio network and made a first order in October for a national Digital Terrestrial TV distribution network in a country in Eastern Europe. The DTT network is based on Net Insight's Nimbra platform for distribution of uncompressed and compressed video (HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI). The network is now expanded to a fully redundant core network with Nimbra nodes, enabling the operator to offer its customers higher availability.
