The 100 000th GALA TV user

At the end of December 2009, the 100 000th users ordered the digital television
GALA service provided by TEO LT, AB, the largest provider of integrated
telecommunication, IT and TV services in Lithuania. 

At the end of 2009, the Company had almost 56 thousand users of the IP-based
television (IPTV) service ‘Interactive GALA' and more than 46 thousand users of
the digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) service ‘Digital GALA'. 

According to the Report of the Communications Regulatory Authority, at the end
of the third quarter of 2009 the number of subscribers using pay digital TV
services in Lithuania was 209.4 thousand (including 44 thousand subscribers to
TV services over cable television and multichannel multipoint distribution
service (MMDS) networks, 52.6 thousand - over IP technologies (IPTV), 72.1
thousand - satellite TV, 40.7 thousand - digital terrestrial television (DVB-T)
services).
