The TrygVesta insurance group simplifies its name to Tryg. In Denmark, Norway and Finland the company logo will be the lifebuoy. The new brand will be marketed from August. With identical name and logo Tryg will obtain greater impact in the Nordic region. The change is a natural consequence of a stronger joint Nordic culture in the group and a close cooperation across borders. The managers of the company have Nordic fields of responsibility and the group increasingly launches common Nordic products for its customers. Due to the name similarity with Trygg-Hansa, Tryg's products and services in Sweden will be marketed under the name Moderna. The proposal regarding the name change will be presented on TrygVesta's annual general meeting on 15 April 2010.
