Management change at ALK

Summary: ALK announces the appointment of Flemming Pedersen as new CFO and
member of the Board of Management of ALK-Abelló A/S, replacing Jutta of
Rosenborg. 

After serving as CFO for seven years, Jutta of Rosenborg (51) has decided to
focus her career on board work. The Board of Directors of ALK has appointed
Flemming Pedersen (45) as new CFO and member of the Board of Management. ALK
expects that Flemming Pedersen will take up his position on December 1, 2010,
at the latest. 

Flemming Pedersen holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration and Auditing from
the Copenhagen Business School and is currently CEO of NeuroSearch, which he
joined in 2000. During his career, Flemming Pedersen has gained significant
management and financial experience through his employment which, in addition
to NeuroSearch, includes Maersk Medical, Carlsberg and KPMG.
