MARTELA CORPORATION TO ACQUIRE OPERATIONS OF DANISH IMPORT COMPANY              

In a deal announced today, Martela Corporation is to acquire the operations of  
Martela A/S, its long-term partner and importer of its products in Denmark, on 1
November 2010. This deal will allow Martela Corporation, one of the Nordic      
countries' leading suppliers of working environment and public space solutions, 
to reinforce its role and position as supplier of comprehensive services on the 
Danish market.                                                                  

The revenue of Martela A/S's operations to be acquired was approximately EUR 4.0
million in 2009. With the deal, Martela A/S's personnel (16 employees) will     
transfer to the Martela Group under their present contract terms.               

Heikki Martela, Managing Director of Martela Corporation explains that the      
companies have recently been cooperating on developing operations and this work 
will be continued. According to Heikki Martela, Denmark is defined in the       
Martela Corporation strategy as part of the home market and the company is      
aiming to increase its market share in this area. After the restructuring the   
company will have improved possibilities to provide current and future customers
with prompt deliveries, an increasingly extensive Martela collection and broader
range of services.
