Kelly Engineering Resources(R) Awards Academy of Engineering Grants

TROY, MI--(Marketwire - October 25, 2010) - Three National Academy Foundation (NAF) Engineering High Schools have each received a $2,500 grant from Kelly Engineering Resources (KER), a specialty service of Kelly Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA) (NASDAQ: KELYB).

A.J. Moore Academy, Waco, Texas, Hialeah Gardens High School Academy of Engineering, Hialeah Gardens, Florida, and Zebulon B. Vance High School Academy of Engineering, Charlotte, North Carolina, received the annual grant from KER to support a specific engineering project to be implemented in the 2010-2011 school year. "We truly appreciate our partnership with Kelly Services," says JD Hoye, President of the National Academy Foundation. "These grants will help three exemplary career academies increase enrollment, facilitate college transition, and better equip students with the tools they need to learn and succeed."

Since 2008, Kelly Engineering Resources has partnered with NAF Engineering Academies across the country. Through the partnership, the Kelly Engineering Grant Program was created to award monetary grants to Academies of Engineering across the country. In addition, KER full-time employees participate in numerous local NAF Advisory Boards where they work to provide students with paid internship opportunities and enhance the career-themed curriculum through their own knowledge of the industry.

"Engineering is an exciting and innovative industry to work in," said Tim McAward, vice president of Kelly Engineering Resources. "At Kelly, we enthusiastically support the next generation of engineers through programs such as the NAF grant program, a program that supports high school students with proven results."
