Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for December totalled 4.8 million euros and increased by 11% compared to December previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 9%.
In the month of December, retail revenue increased by 18% in Eastern Europe region (in Russia 19% and in Ukraine 18%). Retail sales revenue in the Baltic region increased by 7% (18% in Latvia and 12% in Estonia).
In the month of December, comparable stores sales per square metre increased the most in Ukraine (+45%), Russia (+20%), Latvia (+12%) and Estonia (+10%).

Baltika’s revenues in the fourth quarter of 2010 totalled 15.1 million euros and increase by 7% compared with the fourth quarter of 2009. Retail sales increased by 7% and wholesale revenue by 1% yoy.
In terms of regions, Baltika’s fourth quater retail sales increased by 8% in Eastern Europe and the Baltic region.
In full year 2010, the preliminary unaudited sales of Baltika Group amounted to 52.2 million euros (-8% yoy), including retail sales of 48.6million euros (-6%) and wholesale of 3.0 million euros (-31%).
At the end of December 2010, Baltika Group had 120 stores with a total sales area of 24,424 square metres, 13 stores less than in 2009. 6 stores were opened and 19 closed during 2010.
