Sales in February


Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for February totalled 3.0 million euros and increased by 7% compared to February previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 8%.

In the month of February, retail revenue increased by 12% in Baltic region (in Latvia 21%, in Estonia 15% and in Lithuania 3%). Retail sales revenue in the Eastern Europe region increased by 1% (14% in Russia). In Ukraine retail sales decreased by 15%.

In the month of February, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased by 12%. Biggest growth was in Lithuania (+20%), in Estonia (+16%) and in Latvia (+14%). Retail sales efficiency (sales/m²) increased in February by 16%.

Comparable wholesale increased by 54%.

Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue for February totalled 3.34 million euros and increased by 7% compared to February previous year.

One shop was closed in February in Ukraine. At the end of February Baltika Group had 116 stores with a total sales area of 26,070 square metres, 14 stores less than in February 2010.

Consolidated sales revenue for the first two months totalled 7.9 million euros (7% yoy), including retail revenues of 7.3 million euros (10%) and wholesale revenues of 0.5 million euros (-32%).
