NASDAQ OMX Clearing (“the Clearinghouse”) has updated the clearing rulebook for commodity derivatives and published amended versions of the following documents on the Default Fund website http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/clearing/defaultfund and on www.nasdaqomxcommodities.com/trading/legalframework:

  • Amended version of the Default Fund Rules as set out in Clearing Appendix 9 of the Clearing Rules
  • Amended version of the Clearing Rules – General Terms
  • Amended Default Fund General Terms for Custody Account

As previously communicated, the Clearinghouse launched a Default Fund 1 March 2012. These amendments are made in relation to a review of the Default Fund Rules which the Clearinghouse has conducted based on input on changes and clarifications received from members in connection with the launch of the Default Fund. 

All amendments will enter into force on 16 May, 2012.
