“The interim profit must be seen in the light of the Tivoli Gardens being closed during the quarter of January. Tivoli's revenue for the quarter increased by DKK 13.3 million compared with the same quarter last year. The increase is primarily due to the musical Grease at the Tivoli Concert Hall. Expenses are DKK 7.9 million above the first quarter last year and are also primarily due to Grease.
At 31 March 2012 Tivoli's sale of season passes 2012 amounted to DKK 42.7 million compared with DKK 35.9 million at 31 March 2011. The income from season passes is recognised at DKK 8.4 million for this first quarter. The remaining season pass income will be accrued over the next three quarters.
Based on the sales increase and the improved pre-tax profit we find the result satisfactory", says Claus Dyhr, CFO.
Outlook for 2011
The expectations of profit before tax for 2012 are maintained at the level of approximately DKK 30 million.
Yours sincerely
