Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue for August totalled 4,738 thousand euros and increased by 7% compared to August previous year.
Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for August totalled 4,350 thousand euros, which is an increase by 9% compared to the same period in previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 7%. Retail sales efficiency (sales/m²) increased in August by 17%.
The sales growth was highest in Latvia 20%, Estonia 14% and Lithuania 12%. Ukraine with 3% had a growth, while retail sales decreased in Russia by 3%.
In the month of August, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased by 15%. Growth was achieved in Latvia (+18%), Russia (+16%), Estonia (+14%), Lithuania (+14%), and in Ukraine (+11%).
In local currencies, comparable store sales per square metre decreased in Ukraine by 4% and increased in Russia by 12%.
Wholesale decreased in August by 4% compared to same period last year.

At the end of August Baltika Group had 106 stores with a total sales area of 21,550 square metres.
Consolidated sales revenue for the first eight months totalled 34,987 thousand euros (+5% yoy), including retail revenues of 32,365 thousand euros (+4% yoy) and wholesale revenues of 2,002 thousand euros (+8% yoy).
Eight months retail sales efficiency increased by 14%, compared to the same period last year.
