NASDAQ OMX Commodities to Introduce RSA SecurID® Software Tokens for Genium INET (Clearing Workstation 2 & Web Trade)

In order to increase flexibility and convenience for our customers, NASDAQ OMX Commodities will switch to software based RSA authentication for web-based trading and clearing applications.

From March 1 2014 all Expiring Physical RSA Tokens for Genium INET Clearing Workstation 2 (CW2) and Genium INET Web Trade will be replaced by software tokens for Windows PC. To meet different customer preferences software tokens for most smartphones, including BlackBerry, Iphone and Android will also be available. Existing hardware key fobs will continue to work up until their regular expiry date. Physical RSA key fobs can still be provided to new users who explicitly request them.

No action is required by customers at this point. Nasdaq OMX will contact all users prior to an existing hardware key fob reaching its expiry date. The physical RSA token will be replaced by a new software token, which will be distributed to the end user along with installation guide and login instructions.

RSA Software tokens will be free of charge in the initial set-up as well as for renewal at expiration. If a member specifically requests a physical RSA token a special charge of EUR 400 will be applied in order to recover administration and freight costs.
