The Finnish Consumer Protection Act will be updated on the 13th of June affecting consumers' rights when purchasing online or by phone. In the future the customer will be responsible for the return expenses of a product. However it is expected that many online stores will continue to offer a free return policy.
The 32-day return policy offered by Verkkokauppa.com will continue unaffected by this new regulation. An electronic return form will be available to fill out online to make the process as easy as possible for the customer.
"Returns do not create a particular problem for Verkkokauppa.com as we have been determined to improve customer experiences - we offer quality product information, product reviews and also the service and return percentages of products. With these we can make sure the customer chooses the right product and the number of returns remains low. We find it best that nothing changes. ", informs Verkkokauppa.com's CEO Mr. Samuli Seppälä.
