On 24 August 2015, Tryg announced that Tryg and Skandia had entered into an agreement whereby Tryg would acquire Skandia’s activities within child and adult accident insurance. Tryg has obtained the relevant approval by the authorities hence the transaction is now finalised.
Skandia will be integrated into Tryg’s Swedish business, Moderna Forsäkringar and incorporated in the accounts from 1 September 2016.
