Experiencing New Changes in AI Applications at CIFTIS

2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services

BEIJING, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Robots shuttle back and forth, AI agents respond in seconds, and large models are integrated into business processes... At the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), one can deeply felt that AI is accelerating its evolution from an auxiliary tool to an indispensable element of business processes, empowering all industries in real-world scenarios.

At the Education Services Section, the Feixiang Xingqiu booth was crowded with visitors. What is on display here is not just AI technology, but a reconstruction of teaching methods.

In the past, teachers had to spend a great deal of time searching for materials and using different software to create interactive courseware and teaching animations. Now, this pain point is being resolved by AI.

Lu Xin, Marketing General Manager of Feixiang Xingqiu, introduced that with "Feixiang Teacher 3.0," teachers only need to describe their needs in natural language, and the system can generate educational applications for classroom interaction and exercises. "Feixiang Teacher 3.0" can also use AI to provide explanations, record students' answers, and help teachers continuously improve their teaching design.

At the Meituan booth in the Beijing Solution Exhibition, AI application scenarios extend from campuses to restaurant outlets. In front of the screen, many visitors are experiencing AI agents designed for individuals, merchants, and enterprise organisations.

"We are advancing AI applications in various scenarios such as merchant operations, consumption decisions, and intelligent fulfilment and delivery," said Li Jiwei, Executive Director of the Meituan Research Institute, offering an example. For restaurant merchants, processing customer reviews requires a great deal of manpower. Meituan's AI business assistant "Smart Shopkeeper" categorises customer reviews by dish, service, environment, and other factors, converting them into structured business feedback and giving targeted suggestions.

From content generation in the classroom to business analysis in stores, AI's reach is continuously extending along the business chain.

In the Transportation & Business Services Section, ZTO Express's unmanned delivery vehicle attracted the attention of many visitors. This unmanned delivery vehicle, equipped with an autonomous driving system, can carry nearly a thousand packages and can be controlled throughout its journey via a mobile app.

"ZTO Express has put more than 3,500 unmanned delivery vehicles into operation in over 260 cities across the country, delivering over 8.7 million packages per day, becoming an important supplement to last-mile delivery capacity," said Bu Bin, a relevant person in charge of the Public Affairs Management Centre of ZTO Express. At the last mile of logistics delivery, intelligent equipment represented by unmanned delivery vehicles is reshaping the delivery process, making services more precise and efficient.

Among the China Services cases exhibited at this year's CIFTIS, nearly 40% feature AI, large models, and AI agents as core technologies. "AI is moving from isolated applications to platform-based and systematic development. Reconstructing processes, organisations, and value creation around AI has become key for enterprises to achieve transformation," said Meng Xiaofan, Rotating Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte China.
