no 08/12 Relocation of market data from FTP to FDS by 1 June 2012

Lysaker, 16 February 2012

Since 1 January 2012, the NASDAQ OMX Commodities market data has been available in the ‘.sdv’ and ‘TIP’ formats from the File Delivery Service (FDS). This allows all NASDAQ OMX customers the same level of support and quality across all asset classes, and aims to further strengthen the market data services to customers.

NASDAQ OMX Commodities would like to remind members that effective from 1 June 2012, end-of-day, delayed and historical information relating to the commodity market will no longer be available through the File Transmission Protocol (FTP) service. Instead, such information must be retrieved through FDS. Most of the information will also remain be available from the NASDAQ OMX Commodities website.

The changes do not apply for the SPAN-files or the product calendar, which will continue to be available as they are today.

A new price structure will also be introduced for all subscribers of this data, effective from 1 June 2012.  For further information, please look here.

From 1 October 2012, the FDS data files will be available in TIP format only.
